Moreover, the nearby cities to Biramitrapur are Simdega (36 km), Rajagangapur (31 km) and Raurkela (26 km). It is placed in the border area of Sundargarh District and Simdega District. Biramitrapur city in Sundargarh District of Orissa is largely famous for Rani Sati Temple placed around 35 km from Rourkela. It is also known as second Jhun-Jhun Dham of India and it is run by a trust called as Gopalji Tulsian. The Temple was built before the year 1967 and later renovated in 1992 and 2000. It spreads over 2 acres of land and has been adorned with white marvel, art works and a golden pot at the top which give it a wonderful look from outside.
